Building Disaster Response Service
Repairing damage after a natural disaster can be a daunting and costly task. Your support helps ease this burden. At no cost to congregations, Disciples Church Extension Fund helps churches in the wake of catastrophe by securing buildings and navigating insurance and reconstruction.
As climate change worsens, this is a growing need for our faith communities. Our Building Disaster Response Service ensures our faith communities can be restored as safe places to gather, worship, and grow. We help churches build forward… as they build back.
$450,000 to establish the Building Disaster Response Service Endowment will:
• Generate approximately $18,000 annually
• Financially address a need that will increase in the future
• Allow staff to provide more on-site support to congregations following a building disaster
